Sit-In Client: Province of Catanzaro Aims: development of a WebGIS prototype connected to the available data of Provincia di Catanzaro GIS. Rete PIT Lamezia Client: Lamezia Terme Municipality Aims: build a computer network to promote and facilitate communication, exchange and delivery of services between citizens, companies and public entities, which allows to connect virtually with the rest of the world; that helps to have cutting-edge tools for professional development and specialization of employees without they take time out of work to attend training lessons. Results: a on-line services, , coordination and broadcasting of European programming and projecting informations |  |

a geographic information system for the management of the cadastre road, so the administration could have a tool for management of road infrastructure available also on-line;

Flavour Way Client: Calabria Union of Chambers of Commerce Aims: Provide a service for the gourmet tourists, who want to know what to eat and what to drink, but also eager to know the area of Catanzaro in 360 degrees, from a historical, environmental and cultural point of view. Technical solutions: we used the SVG vector graphics format that ensures a cheap publishing on the web without neither special hardware solutions, nor installation of specific software on the server and / or client, except for the installation of a plug-in. The data were completed using Arc View. |  |
Results: After the first three stages -steps of desk analysis and elaboration of the data-bases structure and the architecture of the website, we proceeded to collect the informations from affiliated companies and interested municipalities. Then we carried out alphanumeric and cartographic databases. The result is a WEBGIS (www.flavourway.com) that provides information on the Strada dei Sapori Cassiodorei, on the associated companies and the typical products and allows you to take a virtual tour through 4 routes.
Martins Client: Calabria Union of Chambers of Commerce Aims: Answer to the needs expressed by the Calabria Union of Chambers of Commerce of promoting the Calabria territory development by a clear knowledge of the business opportunities present therein. Technical solutions : An effective, cheap, and friendly user WebGis has been carried out; it makes available, for a large number of users, information related to the business opportunities in the territory. For publication on the WEB the vector graphic format SVG has been chosen as it doesn’t require any particular hardware solution or any specific client or server software. |  |
For the management, interrogation and visualization of the alphanumerical information the ASP format has been adopted.
Results: The project result is a WEBGIS (www.progettomartins.net) that provides information about 101 PIP Areas (out of 202 present in Calabria) and about the 13 industrial conglomerations, managed by semi-public consortia.

Technical solutions: The publication on the web has been carried out thanks to the vector graphic format SVG that allows, at low cost, on the one hand the interoperability among different platforms, on the other it doesn’t require any particular hardware solution or any specific client or server software. |  |
